“Inside Africa” – Expanding Your Reach

I enjoy watching Inside Africa on CNN International.

If you have cable in the U.S. (and elsewhere) you can be overwhelmed by all the choices. I fall in the trap of focusing on channels I watch frequently. However, if you explore outside your “favorites” range you can find jewels that will expand your knowledge of the world.

Inside Africa is one of them (at least for me). It begins with a world news summary - which reminds me there is literally a world of other events going on outside of my local world. Then it covers Africa - specific topics in short segments (including South Africa, of course!). It is very interesting to hear what people say about my home country (and others) to get a broader perspective.

And as the title of this blog indicates, I love South Africa so I enjoy keeping up with what is happening in the region. I encourage you to check it out – I guarantee you will learn something new!
